Small Animal Massage

Just as humans can benefit from massage, so can cats and dogs.

For those of us who have experienced a good massage, we have felt the many benefits, some benefits immediately and some a day or two later.

Our Small Animal Massage Practitioner, Caitlin Bennett, received her certificate at the Northwest School of Animal Massage.  Since receiving her certificate she has put into practice the core teachings and many of our patients are benefitting tremendously.

Advantages of Small Animal Massage:

  • Reduction of pain and inflammation
  • Improved range of motion
  • Increased flexibility
  • Promotion of circulation
  • Supports healing post injury or surgery
  • Slows down degenerative processes
  • Enriched well-being
  • Stress reduction
  • Increased energy
  • Calming sensation

Caitlin will communicate your pet’s progress and noted response at each appointment.  Additionally, if Caitlin notices any concerns such as lumps or bumps, or skin abnormalities she will certainly let you know so you may schedule a time to have those concerns checked out.

The power of massage does extend beyond the feeling of being pampered as it affects the many body systems of your pet.  It also can positively offer emotional and social benefits.
