Danielle Cook
DVM
Danielle is from the East Coast but has lived in the Pacific Northwest long enough to call it home. She has been out west ever since spending her final year of veterinary school at Washington State University. She began her career in the Portland area and has moved all over the Northwest before settling in Bellingham in 2007.
Early on in her career Dr. Cook volunteered with the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon. She also worked as a court appointed advocate for animals during legal proceedings regarding their welfare. While working in the Seattle area she volunteered at Pasado’s safe haven and the Humane Society of King County. She even traveled to New Orleans after Hurricaine Katrina on an animal rescue mission with Pasados.
She came to Northshore in 2010 after working at emergency clinics in Seattle, Mount Vernon and Bellingham. Her professional interests include cardiology, emergency medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. She has completed several training courses in echocardiology and is currently offering her services to our patients.
When she’s not spending time with her two sons she enjoys mountain biking, running, skiing and playing soccer for the Northshore Veterinary Hospital team.
