Welcome To Northshore Veterinary Hospital

Northshore Veterinary Hospital is a full-service small animal practice featuring digital radiology, therapeutic class IV laser, ultrasound, endoscopy, surgery, dentistry, digital dental radiology, vaccinations, wellness exams, and a paperless medical chart system. The hospital was established in 1997 by Dr. Kimberly Barron.

Our team is dedicated to keeping your pet healthy and happy. We are located off the I-5 Lakeway exit, near Whatcom Falls Park and Bloedel Donovan Park, making it easy to take your four-legged friend for a walk or swim before or after an appointment with us.

We now offer a class IV theraputic laser treatment for our furry friends. The Companion Theraputic Laser is a sterile, pain-free, surgery- free, drug-free treatment which is used to treat a variety of injuries, wounds, fractures, neurological conditions, numerous dermatological problems, and pain. If you are interested in having your pet treated with the laser, please call our office and schedule a consultation with one of our doctors.  You can also click here to look at Companion’s website for pet owners.

To strive to be the most advanced veterinary hospital in Whatcom county, we now offer digital dental radiography to our repertoire of services! Radiographs (x-rays) of the teeth are needed in order to completely evaluate your pet’s oral health. X-rays aid our doctors greatly in detecting abnormalities below the gum line that cannot be detected under examination alone. In some cases, x-rays can confirm the need for extraction of teeth that are loose or badly infected.
