Licensed Veterinary Technician, CCRP, cSAMP
Caitlin received her Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Portland Community College in 2000 and joined NSVH in October of 2005. With a strong interest in keeping pets pain-free and comfortable, she decided to learn more about post-operative and geriatric physical rehabilitation. She became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) in 2013 after attending the certification program at the University of Tennessee School of Veterinary Medicine. To add to her pain management tools, she became certified in small animal massage (cSAMP) at the Northwest School of Animal Massage in 2016. Caitlin also assists patients with our hydrotherapy program. She enjoys seeing post-operative patients regain full physical function, but gets the most enjoyment in keeping NSVH’s older pets mobile and comfortable in their senior years.
Caitlin has a fourteen year old German Wirehaired Pointer names Jonesy (who is still a hiking machine!). She also has a truly adorable Llewellyn Setter named Grover and an overweight (don’t tell anyone) super sweet cat named Minnow.
